Campus Led Service

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. --1st Timothy 4:12

 WOW!  You talk about a great service!  God worked in a great way through the campus ministry this past Sunday.  The campus students of the Spokane Christian Church led the entire worship service.  All the campus students were there early on day light savings time...All the ushers were campus students, all the Tech Crew were campus students, all the songs were led by campus students, a campus student sang a solo, a few campus students preached the Word and they even put together a campus band! 

The atmosphere was fun and energetic, God must have had a smile on his face.  Elyne started us off in the word and welcomed everyone on behalf of the campus students.  We all sang songs while the campus band played.  After singing to God, a brother, Devon came forward and sang the song Amazing Grace to help prepare our hearts for communion.  Kyle led us in communion after Matt gave his testimony.   During the passing of the bread and juice a campus sister Jenny came up and played a reflective solo on the keyboard.  After that, Tim and Elyne jumped up on stage and performed a Christian Rap / Song from the bible before the message.  It was now time for Phil and Bryce to come up and preach the Word of God.  At the close of the service, all the campus students camp up on stage and led the song "Hard Fighting Soldier."  To God be the Glory!
