...they refreshed my spirit and yours also...1 Corinthains 16:18

What a great time it was to be with Ministry Staff from all over the Northwest and Western Canada. This year we went to Victoria, British Columbia. Stefanie and I were refreshed by the spirit of unity, intimate fellowship and co-operation between the Churches. The fellowship was great; there were lessons from Scott Green, Alex Whitaker and Jay Kelly from Seattle, Rob Skinner from Ashland, Ray Nadon from Anchorage Alaska and myself. There were different segments of discussion led by Brian Felusko from Vancouver Canada and Jake Jensen from Missoula Montana.
During one segment there was a great time of reconciliation as the Elders from Portland and Steve Johnson humbly apologized and asked for forgiveness from the NW Churches for the pain they may have caused over the past few years, it was inspiring and faith building! They also updated us on how things are going in the Portland Church and asked for prayer; we welcomed them back into the NW Family of Churches gladly. Later on we had a time of openness and confession in small groups. There was a sense of refuge, love and safety as we all opened up our lives and prayed for one another.

We worshipped together and spent lots of quality time together not just in meetings and smaller groups, but also couples hooking up with other couples early in the morning for breakfast and late at night over dinner or dessert. Many of us traveled on the Victoria Clipper from Seattle together...there was a great spirit of joy to see one another.
On Saturday, for lunch the women went out for tea and fellowship while the men stayed back for a burger bar! One Big Happy Family!

Thank you to the Felusko's from Vancouver Canada for hosting such an awesome event and thank you to the Spokane Christian Church for supporting Stefanie and I to be able to attend this refreshing retreat with the NW Ministry Staff.
