Spokane Christian Church

Our Small Group Leaders are incredible servants of Christ.  It is our desire to prepare our leaders with spiritual strategies, biblical tools and practical lessons that equip them to be effective in ministry.

Small Groups are designed to help people care for one another and share the love of Christ with one another as well as the community at a minimum of twice a month.

  • It’s where we build family, relationships and a sense of belonging.
  • It’s where we have lots of fun, become a refuge from the world and pray for each other.
We ask about one another’s quiet times in the Word.  It’s also where we ask our friends to have a personal bible study.

Developing Objectives for Your Group (Session 1)

What is the mission statement of the SCC?

What is the purpose of our small groups?

What is an objective?  What is a goal?  How can you use goals and objectives to move your small group forward?

Describe in a picture what you want your small group to look like in three months.

What does it mean to "Care for People?"  How does your group put this into practice?

Example:

Start Date: March 1

What does the group want to become:  In 3 months, we would like to see our small group become more evangelistic.

As a Leader I will take these steps:  Get input from my small group, Do more evangelistic lessons, intiate prayer time with the small group specifically about bringing friends, be an example of bringing friends, inspire each other to reach out by meeting at the mall and sharing our faith.

Ending Date: June 1
